Well, this blog was always an experiment.
As it turns out, not a very successful one .. I got some nice incoming links, but few comments and very little personal contact. I guess it is not all that surprising - the blogosphere is a large place, and there are others commenting on data analytics matters, and doing it well.
So, it is time to bring this chapter to a close and pursue other interests. I guess I will miss blogging, but .. well, case closed.

Hi John,
I read your blog regularly through its RSS feed. It is very interesting since your posts are comprehensive and show that you have experience in the domain. I think people usually don’t post comments since you have to create an account to do so. In my opinion, you should allow comments without account creation. It is your decision, but I hope you change your mind and continue blogging…
