Let’s see how good Akismet really is at catching comment spam when commentors don’t have to register.

Why have I decided to start blogging again?

1. Well, Google still likes me .. still a PR of 5 would you believe? even though the blog has been inactive for quite a while. So it is kinda fun to see how Google does or doesn’t react to what I do, what the lag effects are
2. There is always something interesting (to me at least), going on .. for example, I recently bought a new ride-on lawn mower .. yes, that was interesting - interesting stuff about decision processes, and how the web fits in there
3. I got bored with just making money, cutting code, analyzing data .. so, why not write some stuff
4. It is not a bad way of keeping track (for me) of what I have been doing or thinking about .. kinda like a diary.
5. I finally figured out I don’t have to have any expectations about this blog… it doesn’t matter if it has no readers (well, except Google : I like the google-dance), it doesn’t matter if existing clients care or don’t care, it doesn’t matter if it gets me any business or not. It doesn’t matter if it stays on track, or if I wander off into unknown realms or bury myself in arcana or attept some broad synthesis or just mumble and meander.
6. And blogging is kinda fun. Mildly addictive, but not too harmful to your health or wealth.

Well, I will post some stuff from time to time .. maybe on occasion there will be something you like.
