In 2018 oOh! partnered with DataSpark to perform a first-of-its-kind study in the Australian out-of-home industry to have a greater level of understanding of the travel and movement patterns of the Chinese visitor segment. Through this study, oOh! uncovered a number of critical insights including where Chinese visitors like to shop the most in Australia, how long they stay at shopping centres and how long they stay in Australia.
Since this initial study oOh!’s partnership with DataSpark has flourished with oOh! integrating DataSpark into their Audience Intelligence Hub, a platform built by oOh! to keep its clients in the loop on the movements and travel patterns of Australians on a weekly basis, with reporting that covers over 4,000 locations nationally.
