Queensland Health partners with DataSpark

The COVID-19 pandemic presented newfound challenges for states across Australia. Health departments across the country needed access to near real-time, anonymised and aggregated mobility data to do an in-depth analysis into when, why and how Australian populations were moving so they could make better-informed decisions in relation to effectively managing public health policy in the midst of the pandemic.

Last year, Queensland Health approached DataSpark for assistance with providing a data-as-a-service solution which lends them a hand in generating invaluable insights to enhance their decision making. Through a close working partnership with Queensland Health the DataSpark Epidemiology Tool was created.
